The EEHL is thrilled to unveil the much-anticipated regular season schedule for our youth leagues for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. This includes a variety of divisions, specifically designed to cater to young athletes at different stages of their hockey development. Our leagues encompass the Learn to Play League for young players who are just starting out, as well as competitive divisions for U9, U11, U13, and U15.
Game Locations
All games will be held at Festival Walk, which offers excellent amenities for players and spectators. This venue is equipped with great viewing areas and food options, ensuring that all games can be played in a safe and comfortable environment. The location is easily accessible, making it convenient for families to attend and support their teams throughout the season.
Game Schedule
Pro Dev: Megabox on Friday nights, following the conclusion of our first Pro Dev Summer League.
U15 Division: Will take place at Lohas on Tuesday evenings. Players will have a chance to practice and play in the league at Lohas.
U11 and U13 Divisions: Games for these competitive divisions are scheduled to take place on Wednesday nights. This mid-week timing allows for a focused atmosphere, enabling players to showcase their skills and strategies in a competitive setting. The Wednesday night games will provide a consistent rhythm for the teams, fostering team cohesion and development.
Learn to Play and U9: Games for our younger players in the Learn to Play League and U9 division will be held on Sundays throughout the season. These Sunday games are designed to be fun and engaging, emphasizing skill development and teamwork while allowing families to enjoy an afternoon of hockey activities.
Season Duration
The EEHL season is set to run from October to April, encompassing a full six months of hockey action. This timeline allows ample opportunity for players to develop their skills, compete, and grow in a supportive environment. Throughout the season, teams will have the chance to participate in various games and possibly tournaments, culminating in an exciting conclusion that showcases the hard work and dedication of all participants.
Tryouts
Tryouts for the upcoming season will be conducted at the Empire Rink in late September. These tryouts are crucial for team placements and will allow coaches to evaluate players’ skills, commitment, and teamwork abilities prior to the draft. We encourage all interested players to attend the tryouts, as this is a fantastic opportunity to join a team, meet fellow hockey enthusiasts, and embark on a season filled with growth and fun. Details regarding specific dates and times for the tryouts will be communicated to all registered participants in advance.
As we prepare for the season, we are filled with enthusiasm and anticipation for the thrilling hockey experiences that await us. We look forward to an exciting season ahead, filled with memorable moments, skill development, and the joy of the game!
